La ligne 1 relie Petřiny (à l'Ouest de la ville) à Spojovací (à l'Est). Elle traverse les districts de Prague 6, 7, 8 et 3. De ce fait, elle dessert – entre autres – les quartiers de Petřiny, du château de Prague, de Holešovice et de Žižkov.
